The older I get it seems I attract the scam. Today it was a surprise box of “Wu-Yi Source” weightloss system tea and pills. I did not order this box.

Now my vast internet experience tells me that there is a shipping fee even for a free trial; so I went to their web site to see what their terms are and how this box might have made its way to my mail box. I have no emails confirming an order of this tea. There is an online chat support thingy; so I chat with the person on the other end. Supposedly this package was ordered on my birthday in December and someone used a credit card ending in 2222 (I don’t have a card like that!). They sent it to my house (whoever they are). If I didn’t cancel the account, their card would be getting hit monthly with $59.99 subscription fees. The support person said it’s fraud and the account is now canceled. I marked the box refused and am returning it to the Wu-Yi people.

Now I am left scratching my head and wondering why someone did this? It profited them nothing, unless it’s to cause havoc on some victim’s credit card account.
