The company that billed your phone is called Mobile Messenger. They have another 800 number that puts you directly through to a live agent, which is 1-800-416-6129.

You can ask them to explain what this is and why you were billed and you can also request that they refund you for any charges. They seem to be helpful.

I would say yes! Go to http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm and file a complaint. It can’t hurt.
I hope you called Sprint too and got them to reverse the charges.

It seems you might have a couple of problems here: stopping the charges from repeating, getting rid of the subscription or subscriptions and getting a refund for what you didn’t buy or want or use. Best wishes!

Running into the same thing currently on my sprint bill on my wifes phone. I have at least 4 charges currently with 2 in one month-they are getting greedy. Anyone know contacts to this company so I may attempte to contact. Also; is this an FCC issue?

Customer service is everything to me, especially these days. I appreciate hearing about companies that offer great service. Oddly enough I usually hear about poor customer service, but the people complaining keep going back to the same companies for more. Thanks and keep them coming!

Yes, when I first got the message regarding the IQ test, there was a confusing notice telling me something about a subscription to which I immediately texted this stop message. The response to that was that I had no subscriptions… same as when I unsubscribed by phone. They then went ahead and charged me for the non subscription which I had forgotten all about until the bill arrived.

Thanks for reading my lament and responding! Hope you have not had to learn this lesson the hard way too.

Those ads with the IQ test challenges are just so enticing. Every time I see one now I remember my lesson

Thanks for a very useful recommendation. I love your site and gave it a Digg bookmark and gave you one vote where it pays I’ll be back to visit your site again. Unhappily, if I can’t sell a book on Amazon for more than a dollar, it seems none of the other sites want to pay for it either. One side suggested that I donate my book to further literacy. That’s probably what will end up happening to it.

Since they usually pay for the shipping, and you avoid the Amazon fees, this might actually work out to be a better deal overall.
