According to the IRS site our payment should come no later than tomorrow (I think by direct deposit). Wouldn’t’ you know I married a man whose Soc# ends in 99. Those are the last to be paid. I don’t really mind as the money will stay in the bank for now. I just want to be finished watching out for it.

Wednesday, May 14th, 2008It just seemed fitting to use that pretty header file in a forum sig… this is what I came up with:
It needs some sparkle to brighten up the lettering, but for my first attempt, it’s not too bad. I need to learn how to make sparkles… they are animated gifs… I know how to make them, but it’s a lot of work…there has to be an easier way than the way I do it.

Tuesday, May 13th, 2008I was able to drive to the grocery store tonight with no problem. Strangely there wasn’t even very much evidence on the highway that it was underwater the day before. Main Street into Upper Marlboro was still kept closed today.

My First Geocache Hunt

This was my Mother’s Day adventure… Dick and I went on our first Geocaching hunt. This one was supposed to be easy and we did find it with not too much trouble. It was a really nice cache too. We took a pack of Old Maid cards for Evelyn and put in a dollar bill. Here’s what the cache looked like:
